Dr. Steve McDonald has been our Pastor since 1987. He is the senior pastor and serves in preaching, and leading the church in its ongoing church mission and vision. He also mentors and gives support to all of our staff members. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. and M.S. degree. He also has a Th.D from the International Bible Seminary. He and his wife, Faye have two married children and eight grand children.

Bruce is an accomplished singer and directs Calvary’s Gospel Choir as well as Trio Groups. He conducts specials for Christmas, Easter and other special events. Bruce is married to Debbie, has a son, Kirk and two grandsons and two granddaughters.

John is responsible for the education needs of the church as well as evangelism and missions. He holds a B.A. in Religion from Luther Rice University and a M.A. in Religion from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a wife, Andrea, and two children and three grandchildren.

Patrick is from Sevierville, TN, and is a graduate of Carson Newman University in 2013 with a double major in religion and sociology. He has earned Master’s of Arts in Christian Ministry with the focus being pastoral ministries from Liberty University. He is responsible for our Student ministry grades 6-12. Overseeing Sunday School, discipleship, and outreach/ mission events for the group keeps Patrick and his wife Paige busy.

Jenice is responsible for ministry to children from birth to grade 5. This includes Sunday School, children’s worship, discipleship and choirs. She has a B. S. in Special Education from Carson Newman College and an M.S. in curriculum development from the University of Tennessee.

Linda is our church secretary. She gives support to the staff and church. She has one daughter.

I have recently became the Secretary of the Calvary Baptist. I have been a member for over 30 years. I have one son and daughter and have six grandchildren and one great grandson. I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Jim has serves as a our Church Administrator. He is an ordained minister and a Certified Public Accountant. Jim graduated with a Masters in Christian Education from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a B.S. in Business from the University of Tennessee. He and his wife, Shirley, have three married children and eight grandchildren.

Dave is our custodian as well as overseeing remodeling projects of the church building.

Alexey is responsible for evangelism and discipleship among international students and Russian speaking families in East Tennessee. Alexey has been married for more than 20 years to his wife Tatiana. They have three daughters.
